Therapeutic Methods

My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies designed to meet each client’s unique needs and goals:

•  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): A structured, goal-oriented approach to identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors.

 • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Fostering psychological flexibility through acceptance, mindfulness, and committed action aligned with one’s values.

 • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): Helping individuals reprocess traumatic memories, reducing their distressing effects.

 • Imaginary Exposure: Gradually confronting feared situations or memories through guided imagery, allowing safe desensitization to distressing triggers.

 • Imaginary Rescripting: Revisiting and transforming painful memories or experiences in a therapeutic setting, which can help alleviate emotional suffering.

 • Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET): A trauma-focused therapy designed to integrate and process traumatic events within a cohesive life narrative.

 • Schema Therapy: Uncovering and transforming deeply ingrained patterns that influence behavior, emotions, and self-image, empowering clients toward change.
