Taking the step to work on personal growth with someone else is not easy. The first thing I do is acknowledge this and listen openly to your story. Together, we then explore the explanations and root of the challenges in your life—whether they are distressing fears, recurring negative moods, or persistent patterns.
Next, I will propose ways we can approach these issues, and together, we will create a plan that fits you. Ultimately, it’s about what suits you best and the goals you want to work toward. Whatever challenges you may face, therapy is about the process of recovery, which always unfolds in stages.
